Everyone's life has a purpose. We often imagine our purpose being pleasant yet impactful. Sometimes the hardest life challenges have the most impact. Bullying is a major challenge, and it's hard to imagine this terrible act as a purposeful life event especially since it's so painful. However, when viewing this negative act from a different perspective, pain can actually birth purpose. In other words, a painful experience can be a setup for an amazing and positive unforeseen destiny. The key is how that challenge is used to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Every hurtful event in life has a story behind it. Tell your story. An untold story is a testimony lived in vain. Don't let your testimony be in vain. One in five students are bullied. You’re probably thinking, that’s a lot of students so your bullying experience is no different from the next person’s story. Even though that's a lot of people, each experience is unique in some way, simply because no one's journey is exactly the same, and every outcome has its own unique twist.

Writing is therapeutic, and one of the best ways to release anger and frustration is through journaling those hurtful life events. Believe it or not, later in life when those journals are revisited, surprisingly some situations are just a thought with no major mental effect, whereas some scenarios can have a lifelong impact. Regardless, no bullying incident is a pleasant experience nor is it trivial.
