Amazing House of Hope Autism Research & Development Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on developing meaningful programs, services, and long-term solutions for individuals with autism, with a special focus on young adults with significant behavioral and support needs.
We are currently in an exciting stage of strategic planning, organizational development, program design, community outreach, and partnership building. We have assembled a Founding Working Board and are working with a strategist to help guide our organizational development and long-term direction.
As we prepare to develop community-based programs while continuing to build toward our larger vision, we are seeking committed individuals who want to bring their professional expertise, lived experience, skills, creativity, and community connections to help shape what Amazing House of Hope becomes.
You do not have to live in North Texas to contribute. Many meetings, advisory activities, and planning sessions can be conducted virtually.
Ways to Get Involved
There is no single way to contribute to Amazing House of Hope. Opportunities vary based on experience, interests, availability, and the needs of the organization. We are in the process of further establishing our working board and developing a large, eclectic base of volunteers. Although not all areas of services will be needed immediately, when we get to those areas we want to be ahead of the game.

Working Board Members
Our Working Board is a hands-on leadership group actively involved in helping build and strengthen the organizations foundation of Amazing House of Hope. We are seeking individuals who can bring variety of professional expertise, leadership experience, lived experience, community relationships, and a willingness to actively participate in organizational development. Working Board service is best suited for individuals who want to actively participate in building the organization, rather than serving in an advisory capacity only. The needs of the Working Board will evolve as the organization grows. Selection is based not only on professional expertise, but also on current organizational needs, availability, commitment, and how an individual's strengths complement the existing Board.

Advisory Volunteers & Subject-Matter Experts
Not everyone has the time or desire to serve on a Board, and that does not mean your expertise cannot make an important difference. Advisory volunteers may provide guidance in their area of expertise, participate in a committee or project, review program concepts, help develop partnerships, contribute to planning, or assist with specific organizational initiatives.
We are building a multidisciplinary network of professionals, community members, advocates, and individuals with lived experience who can contribute their expertise where it is needed most as Working Board Members, a Volunteer or and Adviory Volunteer with experience in the following areas:in the following areas:
