Working Board Members - Leadership in Action
Amazing House of Hope is developing a hands-on Working Board composed of individuals who are prepared to help guide the organization while actively contributing to its growth.
Working Board Members do more than attend meetings. They participate in governance, strategic planning, organizational decision-making, committee work, and the practical development of programs, partnerships, resources, and infrastructure.

Depending on their experience and the organization’s needs, Working Board Members may:

Participate in Board and strategic-planning meetings

Review materials and prepare for informed decision-making

Serve on or help lead a committee

Support program and organizational development

Help strengthen policies, systems, and operations

Contribute to fundraising and financial sustainability

Assist with partnerships and community relationships

Provide professional expertise in a priority area

Complete or help oversee assigned projects

Represent and advocate for the mission of Amazing House of Hope

Working Board service is best suited for individuals who are prepared to accept an ongoing leadership role, participate consistently, and contribute both their judgment and their effort.

Board membership carries formal governance and fiduciary responsibilities. Expressing interest does not guarantee appointment. Potential candidates may be invited to participate in a virtual conversation, and additional review before a Board appointment is considered.

Hope Builders Task Force - Turning Expertise Into Action
The Hope Builders Task Force is a multidisciplinary group of professionals, community members, advocates, parents, individuals with lived experience, and skilled volunteers who want to help Amazing House of Hope move important ideas and projects forward.

Task Force members provide hands-on support without assuming the formal governance or fiduciary responsibilities of a Board member. Participation may involve an ongoing committee, a time-limited project, or a specific organizational priority.
Task Force members may:

Help research, plan, or develop a program

Review and improve organizational materials

Assist with fundraising or grant-related projects

Help develop community and corporate partnerships

Hope Builder Advisors - Guidance That Helps Build the Mission
Hope Builder Advisors provide professional knowledge, specialized expertise, strategic perspective, or lived experience that can help Amazing House of Hope make informed decisions.
Advisors are not expected to participate in regular Board meetings or take responsibility for ongoing organizational operations. Instead, they may be contacted when a question, project, program concept, or decision relates to their area of knowledge.

Hope Builder Advisors may:

Review a document, proposal, policy, or program concept

Answer questions within their area of expertise

Offer feedback during a brief virtual consultation

Identify potential risks, opportunities, or considerations

Recommend helpful resources or professional contacts

This service path is especially appropriate for busy professionals, retired professionals, subject-matter experts, parents, advocates, and community leaders who want to contribute valuable guidance but cannot commit to frequent meetings or ongoing project work.

Community Hope Builders - Helping Hope Reach the Community
Community Hope Builders are individuals, families, businesses, faith communities, schools, civic organizations, and other supporters who help Amazing House of Hope build relationships, increase awareness, and strengthen its presence in the community.
​
No particular professional background is required. Community Hope Builders contribute in ways that reflect their interests, availability, relationships, and strengths.
They may:

Share information about the organization and its mission

Invite others to learn about or support Amazing House of Hope

Volunteer at events or community activities

Help with fundraising campaigns

Introduce the organization to businesses or community leaders

Connect us with schools, faith communities, civic groups, or service organizations

Community Hope Builders may participate occasionally or become involved in recurring activities as opportunities develop. Some roles may be local, while others may be completed virtually.
